Before you start
- Hot oil; avoid contact with skin, do not inhale oil vapor; wear protective clothing, gloves and goggles/safety mask.
Procedure
- Remove cover with O-ring.
- Remove filter element from housing.
- Insert new filter element in housing.
- Fit cover with new O-ring.
- Tighten screws of cover to specified torque 10 Nm ±2 Nm.
- Replace further oil separator elements the same way.
- Checking diaphragm: remove cover, take off spring, seal and diaphragm.
- Check diaphragm for damage, fit new if damaged.
- Mount diaphragm on housing.
- Install new seal and spring with cover.
- Tighten cover screws to 10 Nm ±2 Nm.
