Before you start
- Fuel spillage on a hot engine can cause fire or explosion.
- Diesel fuel and vapors are dangerous to health; avoid skin contact and inhaling fumes.
Procedure
- Place trailer on firm level ground so fuel cells are level.
- Open cabinet doors on right side of generator.
- Remove fuel cap and fill tank with clean fresh #2 diesel fuel.
- Read the fuel gauge when filling; do not wait for fuel to rise in filler neck.
- Never overfill; leave room for fuel expansion.
- Close fuel cap tightly and wipe up spilled fuel immediately.
