Before you start

  • NEVER stop the engine suddenly except in an emergency.

Procedure

  1. Place MAIN, GFCI and LOAD circuit breakers in OFF position.
  2. Place engine speed switch in LOW (down) position.
  3. Let engine cool by running at low speed 3-5 minutes with no load.
  4. Place MPEC Control Switch to OFF/RESET position.
  5. Verify all status LEDs on MPEC display are OFF.
  6. Remove all loads from the generator.
  7. Inspect entire generator for damage or loosening of components.
