Before you start
- NEVER start engine with main, GFCI or auxiliary circuit breakers in ON position.
Procedure
- Place main, GFCI and aux. circuit breakers in OFF position.
- Verify voltage change-over board is configured for desired output voltage.
- Connect load to receptacles or output terminal lugs.
- Remove terminal lug plastic cover; tighten terminal nuts securely.
- Close all engine enclosure doors.
- In cold weather, hold pre-heat button at least 50 seconds.
- Place engine speed switch in LOW (down) position.
- Place MPEC Control Switch in MANUAL to start engine; run 1-2 minutes, then set speed switch HIGH.

- Oil pressure approximately 44 to 73 psi (303~503 kPa)
- Coolant temperature 165 to 203 deg F
- Engine speed approximately 1600 RPM
