Before you start
- Engine exhaust contains harmful emissions; always have adequate ventilation.
Procedure
- Place main, GFCI and auxiliary circuit breakers in OFF position.
- Make sure voltage change-over board is configured for desired output voltage.
- Connect load to receptacles or output terminal lugs.
- Remove plastic output terminal cover and tighten terminal nuts securely.
- Close all engine enclosure doors.
- In cold weather, press and hold pre-heat button at least 50 seconds.
- Place MPEC control switch in MANUAL position to start engine.
- Run engine 1-2 minutes; listen for abnormal noises; verify Engine Running LED is ON.
