Before you start
- Removing the oil drain plug while the engine is hot can cause hot oil to gush out.
Procedure
- Make sure the generator is level.
- Verify oil level is between the two notches on the dipstick.
- If oil is not clean, drain by removing the oil drain plug; oil should be warm.
- Refill crankcase through filler hole with specified oil; do not overfill.
