Before you start
- Using the common gasket (32413-03200) is also allowed if it is difficult to use liquid gasket.
Procedure
- Clean the mount surfaces of the crankcase, timing gear case and oil pan.
- Squeeze Three Bond 1207C liquid gasket in a 4 mm diameter bead all around the oil pan flange and spread it.
- Install the oil pan within five minutes of applying the liquid gasket.
- Tighten the mounting bolts to the specified torque.
Specs & values
- Extruded oil pan bolts: 10.0 to 13.0 N.m
- Cast oil pan bolts: 27.5 to 33.4 N.m
- Liquid gasket 4 mm [0.16 in] diameter bead
