Magnum MTP4000S — Pump Disassembly - Rotating Assembly

For the Magnum MTP4000S, from the Magnum operator's manual.

Applies to: John Deere PE4024TF281 engine

Procedure

  1. Remove the power source prior to removing the rotating assembly.
  2. Drain the oil in the seal cavity by removing the seal cavity drain plug; clean and replace the plug.
  3. Remove the four nuts on the studs of the volute and use the two jack screws to remove the rotating assembly.
  4. Separate the rotating assembly by pulling straight away from the pump casing.
