Magnum MLT4000S — Smart Mode Generator Operation

For the Magnum MLT4000S, from the Magnum operator's manual.

Applies to: Magnum MLT4000S, Generac GN-220 engine

Before you start

  • Smart mode operation may be adversely affected in ambient temperatures below 15°F (-10°C) or above 120°F (50°C).

Procedure

  1. Set the Gen Power switch to the Off position.
  2. Check engine oil level.
  3. Check for sufficient fuel supply in the LP tanks.
  4. Open the cylinder valves on both LP tanks.
  5. Set the Gen Power switch to the Smart position.
  6. Set the Timer Control to the On or Auto mode.
