Before you start
- Never manually operate the transfer switch when the power is connected.
Procedure
- Disconnect both power sources before manually operating the switch.
- 100-200 amp switches: use the attached handle.
- 400 amp switches: slide detachable handle or wrench over shaft.
- Move handle up for the Normal Source position.
- Move handle down for the Emergency Source position.
- 400 amp switches: remove the detachable handle or wrench.
