Before you start
- Power still present on input side of utility circuit breaker
Procedure
- Prevent emergency generator from starting
- Press OFF button on generator controller
- Disconnect power to battery charger
- Remove battery cables (negative lead first)
- Remove outer enclosure door
- Move utility source circuit breaker to OFF
- Replace door and attach padlock
- Do not remove protective barrier around utility connections
