Kohler — Select a Mounting Location for the RSA III
Installation

Before you start
- Protect the RSA III front panel assembly from dust and debris when drilling the holes.
- Use mounting hardware suitable for the wall composition and thickness.
Procedure
- Select a visible location for mounting the RSA III up to 853 m (2800 ft.) from the controller.
- Remove four screws X-67-154 from the RSA III bezel GM85134 and remove bezel from the RSA III box GM85123.
- Surface mount: drill pilot holes for anchors and create a wall opening for the wiring.
- Surface mount: drill an appropriate hole in box GM85125 for a user-supplied conduit connector if required.
- Temporarily mount the RSA III box and check for proper hole alignment; adjust as needed and remove box.
- Flush mount with box GM85125: create a wall opening and attach the box with user-supplied hardware.
- Flush mount with user-supplied Hoffman box (A-SG8X8X4 or equivalent): use wall-mounting plate GM85126 as a template and drill four 4.4 mm (0.17 in.) diameter holes.
