Kohler — Reset the Thermostat

Applies to: Kohler 14RCA, Kohler 20RCA, Kohler 26RCA, Kohler CH740 / CH1000 / CH1006 engine

Before you start

  • Hazardous voltage. Disconnect all power sources before opening enclosure.
  • Hot engine and exhaust system.

Procedure

  1. Open (turn OFF) circuit breaker for generator accessories.
  2. Open enclosure roof.
  3. Remove air intake panel by pulling up off four bushings.
  4. Press the button on the thermostat to reset it.
  5. Replace the air intake panel.
  6. Reconnect utility power by closing circuit breaker.
  7. Press OFF button on controller to reset fault.
