Before you start
- Hazardous voltage. Only authorized personnel should open the enclosure.
- Install front panel(s) or close and lock enclosure door before test.
Procedure
- Check LEDs: Utility Source Available and Utility Source Position indicators lit.
- Verify generator set master switch is in AUTO position.
- Loaded test: hold TEST button 6 seconds. Unloaded test: hold 3 to 5 seconds.
- Verify generator set engine starts and GEN Available LED flashes.
- For loaded test, verify transfer to emergency; Utility Position LED off, GEN Position LED lights.
- Hold Test button 2 seconds to end test.
- Verify retransfer to normal source; Utility Position LED lights.
- After engine cooldown time delay, generator set shuts down.
Specs & values
- Engine Start time delay factory setting 3 sec.
- Transfer from Normal to Emergency 3 sec.
- Retransfer from Emergency to Normal 6 min.
- Engine Cooldown 5 min.
