Before you start
- Never manually operate the transfer switch when the power is connected.
Procedure
- Disconnect both power sources before manually operating the switch.
- Check contactor position via A and B position indicators (A=utility, B=generator).
- Slide the manual operating handle over the shaft on the left side.
- Move the handle down and release.
- Verify the desired source position indicator displays ON.
- Place the transfer switch in position A (utility).
- Remove the manual operation handle and store it.
