Kohler — Governor Speed Adjustment

Procedure

  1. Check speed using handheld tachometer or frequency meter.
  2. Loosen locking nut on speed-adjusting screw.
  3. Turn screw clockwise to increase speed, counterclockwise to decrease.
  4. Tighten locknut to secure screw at new setting.

  • 60 Hz: 1800 rpm full load, 1890 rpm no load
