Before you start
- Wipe up spilled fuel; keep heat, flame and sparks away; disconnect and ground spark plug leads.
Procedure
- Remove fuel line at carburetor and crank engine. If no fuel comes out, check fuel flow into pump.
- Remove fuel line at inlet side of pump and hold line lower than gas tank.
- If fuel flows freely from the line, the pump is faulty and should be replaced.
