Kohler — Service Procedure

For these Kohler models: CV11-16, CV460-465, CV490-495.

Applies to: Kohler Cv460 465, Kohler Cv490 495

Procedure

  1. Loosen the air cleaner cover retaining knob
  2. Remove the wing nut and air cleaner element.
  3. If so equipped, remove the precleaner from the
  4. Disconnect the breather hose from the air cleaner
  5. Remove the air cleaner base mounting nuts,
  6. If necessary, remove the self-tapping screws
