Kohler — Service Procedure

For these Kohler models: CV11-16, CV460-465, CV490-495.

Procedure

  1. Insert the rubber stopper into the oil fill hole. Be
  2. Start the engine and run at no-load, high
  3. Open the clamp and note the water level in
  4. Close the shut-off clamp before stopping

Tools required

  • gauge reading. Needle movement to the left of
  • the barbed gauge fitting into the hole in the
  • stopper. Be sure the gauge needle is at "0".
