- Safety interlock switch is engaged.
- Loose or faulty wires or connections.
- Faulty key switch or ignition switch.

- Retractable starter not engaging in drive cup.
- Seized internal engine components.
- Empty fuel tank.
- Fuel shut-off valve closed.
- Dirt or water in the fuel system.
- Clogged fuel line.
- Spark plug lead disconnected.
- Key switch or kill switch in ‘‘off’’ position.
