Before you start
- Explosive fuel vapors. Use a container to catch fuel; wipe up all spilled fuel.
Procedure
- Fill the fuel tank to the fullest extent.
- Loosen the small vent screw a few turns on the fuel filter.
- Operate the fuel pump until bubble-free fuel flows; tighten vent screw.
- Loosen line connection (bleed point) at injection pump inlet.
- Operate fuel pump until bubble-free fuel flows; tighten connection.
