Kohler 2000ROZD — Controller Resetting After a Fault Shutdown

Before you start

  • Place the generator set master switch in the AUTO position before silencing the alarm horn.

Procedure

  1. Move the controller alarm horn switch to the SILENCE position; silence the audiovisual annunciator if equipped.
  2. Disconnect the generator set from the load using the line circuit breaker or automatic transfer switch.
  3. Correct the cause of the fault shutdown.
  4. Start the generator set by moving the master switch to OFF/RESET and then to RUN.
  5. Verify that the cause of the shutdown was corrected by test operating the generator set.
  6. Reconnect the generator set to the load using the line circuit breaker or automatic transfer switch.
  7. Move the master switch to the AUTO position for startup by remote transfer switch or remote start/stop switch.
  8. Move the controller alarm horn switch to the NORMAL position.
