Before you start
- Explosive fuel vapors.
- Accidental starting.
Procedure
- Press OFF and remove F3 fuse; disconnect battery charger.
- Disconnect starting battery, negative lead first; turn off fuel supply.
- Remove hose clamp and fuel hose from fuel block fitting.
- Remove hose fitting from natural gas outlet port.
- Remove plug from LP port.
- Clean plug, apply fresh pipe sealant, install in natural gas port.
- Clean hose fitting, apply fresh pipe sealant, install in LP port.
- Slide hose onto fitting and secure with clamp.
- Disconnect DSAI leads for LP near fuel solenoid valve.
- Connect and turn on new fuel supply.
- Reconnect battery, negative lead last; reconnect battery charger.
- Install F3 fuse and start generator set with RUN button.
- Check for leaks using a gas leak detector.
- Run generator set and check operation; adjust output and stability if necessary.
- Press OFF to shut down generator set.
