Before you start
- Hazardous voltage.
- Moving parts.
Procedure
- Attach frequency meter to AC output leads or load-side outlet.
- Start and run generator at least 10 minutes to normal operating temperature.
- Adjust engine governor speed (parameter 4P) to 60 Hz or 50 Hz as appropriate.
- With no load, adjust governor gain (parameter 5P) until stable with no hunting or surging.
- Check frequency; repeat steps 3 and 4 if necessary.
- Save settings.

- 4P=50: 3600 rpm at 60 Hz or 3000 rpm at 50 Hz.
- 4P=00: 3420 rpm at 60 Hz or 2850 rpm at 50 Hz.
- 4P=99: 3776 rpm at 60 Hz or 3150 rpm at 50 Hz.
