Kohler 14RES / 20RES — Field-Connection Terminal Block Wiring

Installation

Before you start

  • Hazardous voltage.
  • Backfeed to utility.

Procedure

  1. Drill holes for conduit fittings; feed cables through openings.
  2. Connect transfer switch emergency source leads to L1 and L2 on terminal block.
  3. Connect neutral (L0) and ground (GRD) from ATS and main panel.
  4. For RRT transfer switch, connect interface panel to ATS1--ATS4 before connecting engine starting battery.
  5. For RDT/RSB transfer switch or remote start/stop, connect engine start leads to terminals 3 and 4.
  6. Connect utility power to terminals labelled Utility; source must be GFCI protected.
