Procedure
- Place master switch OFF/RESET, disconnect battery charger power and battery negative lead
- Loosen cover retaining knob, remove cover, remove precleaner from paper element
- Wash precleaner in warm water with detergent, rinse thoroughly, squeeze out excess water, air dry
- Saturate precleaner with new engine oil, squeeze out excess oil
- Reinstall precleaner over paper element, reinstall cover and secure knob
- Reconnect battery charger power and battery negative lead last
