Procedure

1. Verify location complies with clearances stated in the generator set operation and installation manual.
2. Verify enclosure is clean with all non-emergency-power materials removed.
3. Verify area around installation is clean and free of combustible materials.
4. Verify enclosure doors close completely and lock.
5. Verify mounting surface is properly leveled.
6. Verify engine crankcase is filled with the specified oil.
7. Verify air inlet is clear of obstructions.
8. Verify fuel piping is installed per applicable codes and standards.
9. Verify flexible fuel lines are installed between generator set fuel inlet and fuel piping.
10. Verify 7-11 in. (4-6 oz.) gas pressure is available at the fuel regulator inlet.
11. Verify the gas solenoid valve functions.
12. Verify exhaust system outlet location prevents entry of exhaust gases into buildings or structures.
