Before you start
- Do not place Start-Stop/Preheat switch in STOP/PREHEAT position for more than 20 seconds or damage may occur to the preheat feature.
Procedure
- Whenever possible, run the set at low or no load for a few minutes prior to shutdown.
- Push the switch into the STOP/PREHEAT position.
- If generator set shuts down automatically, identify and correct the problem before attempting to restart.
