Procedure
- Loosen the alternator adjusting plate bolt and the alternator mounting bolt.
- Pivot the alternator at the mounting bolt by adjusting the adjusting bolt.
- Tighten the mounting bolt and the adjusting bolt.
- Operate the engine about five minutes at low idle speed and recheck belt tension.
