Before you start
- Never exceed engine speed of 4,000 rpm
Procedure
- Bring engine to normal operating temperature.
- Check governor setting against an accurate tachometer (use master tachometer of known accuracy).
- Turn governor adjusting screw clockwise to decrease speed; counterclockwise to increase speed.
