Before you start
- Never use gasoline or low flash point solvents for cleaning the air cleaner element. A fire or explosion could result.
- Never run the generator without the air cleaner. Rapid engine wear may result.
Procedure
- Unsnap the clips, remove the air cleaner cover and remove the element.
- Wash the element in a non-flammable or high flash point solvent and dry it thoroughly.
- Soak the element in clean engine oil and squeeze out the excess oil.
- Reinstall the air cleaner element and the cover.
