Procedure
- Disconnect the spark plug lead from the spark plug.
- Attach the high tension lead to the spark tester terminal.
- Ground the spark tester clamp by attaching it to the cylinder head.
- Attempt to pull start the engine. If spark jumps the tester gap, the ignition system is working properly.
