Procedure
- Verify that the engine is filled with the appropriate amount of oil.
- Locate the low oil shutdown wire on the engine and isolate it from the rest of the harness.
- Set VOM to measure resistance.
- Connect one meter lead to the wire that runs through the plastic engine housing to the oil level switch and the other test lead to engine frame ground. Measure and record.
