Before you start
- Required by law in California (Section 4442 California Public Resources Code).
Procedure
- Remove exhaust tubing connected to the muffler.
- Remove screw attaching the arrestor to the muffler.
- Inspect and clean the spark arrestor every 100 hours.
- Replace cone-shaped spark arrestor if torn, perforated or otherwise damaged.
