Generac QuietPact 40 — Cleaning the Spark Arrestor

Before you start
- Do not use a defective spark arrestor screen.
Procedure
- Remove the screen retaining bracket by removing the screw.
- Slide the spark arrestor screen out from the tail pipe.
- Inspect the screen and replace if torn, perforated or otherwise damaged.
- If undamaged, clean the screen with commercial solvent.
- Replace the screen and the retaining bracket.
