Generac QuietPact 40 — Battery Cable Connections
Installation
For the Generac QuietPact 40, from the Generac owner's manual.

Before you start
- Damage will result if the battery connections are made in reverse.
Procedure
- Connect the battery cable from the POSITIVE, POS or (+) post to the lug on the starter contactor.
- Connect the battery cable from the NEGATIVE, NEG or (-) post to the frame ground connection.
- Connect cables so the connectors are clean and tight.
Specs & values
- Voltage drop between battery terminals and generator connection point should not exceed 0.12 volts per 100 amperes of cranking current
