Generac NP-50G — Check Engine Oil Level

Applies to: Generac NP-50G, Generac GN-410 engine

Procedure

  1. Be sure the generator is as level as possible.
  2. Remove oil dipstick and wipe it dry with a clean, lint-free cloth.
  3. Install and tighten oil dipstick, then remove again.
  4. Oil level should be at the dipstick FULL mark; add oil if necessary.
  5. Do not fill above the FULL mark.
  6. Install and tighten oil dipstick before operating the engine.
