Generac Impact-36G / NP-36G — Change Engine Oil

Procedure

  1. Warm up engine for at least five minutes, then shut down.
  2. Clean area around oil drain plug and remove plug.
  3. Drain oil completely into a suitable container.
  4. Install and tighten drain plug.
  5. Remove dipstick and fill crankcase with recommended oil, about 1 quart (950ml).
  6. Do not fill above FULL mark. Install and tighten dipstick cap.

  • First change after 8 hours, then every 50 hours
