Generac GT-990 — Setting the Exercise Timer

Before you start

  • The exerciser will only work in AUTO mode and must be reset whenever the 12-volt battery is disconnected and reconnected.

Procedure

  1. Place the AUTO/OFF/MANUAL switch in the AUTO position.
  2. Push and hold the Set Exercise Time switch to ON for approximately three seconds and release.
  3. All five red LEDs will flash for 10 seconds.
  4. The unit performs the standard exercise sequence then shuts down.
  5. Generator will exercise every seven days at the time set.
