Generac GT-990 — Checking the Engine Oil Level

Before you start
- Never operate the engine with the oil level below the Add mark on the dipstick.
Procedure
- Start the generator in MANUAL, run briefly, then shut down.
- Remove the dipstick and wipe it dry.
- Install and remove dipstick; oil level should be at the Full mark.
- Add oil to the Full mark only; do not fill above Full.
- Install the dipstick.
- Reset the AUTO/OFF/MANUAL switch.
