Before you start
- Damage will result if battery connections are made in reverse.
- If the AUTO/OFF/MANUAL switch is not set to OFF, the generator can crank and start as soon as the battery cables are connected.
Procedure
- Set the AUTO/OFF/MANUAL switch to OFF.
- Turn off utility power supply to the transfer switch.
- Remove the 7.5A and 15A fuses from the generator control panel.
- Connect the red battery cable to the positive (POS or +) post.
- Connect the black battery cable to the negative (NEG or -) post.
