Before you start
- Hot Surfaces. Do not touch hot surfaces. Keep machine away from combustibles during use.
Procedure
- Remove the clamp to remove retainer.
- Slide spark arrestor screens out from the muffler outlet tube.
- Inspect screens and replace if torn, perforated or otherwise damaged; clean with a commercial solvent if not damaged.
- Replace the screens, retainer, and secure with clamp.
