Before you start
- Engine damage. Verify proper type and quantity of engine oil prior to starting engine.
Procedure
- Place generator on a level surface.
- Remove screws and side cover.
- Remove oil fill cap/dipstick and wipe dipstick clean.
- Insert funnel into oil fill opening and add recommended engine oil.
- Insert dipstick without screwing it in; verify oil level is within safe operating range.
- Install oil fill cap/dipstick and hand-tighten.
- Install side panel and screws.
