Generac — STOPPING THE GENERATOR:

For these Generac models: NP45G, NP52G, NP55G, NP65G, NP66G, NP72G.

Applies to: Generac Np45G, Generac Np52G, Generac Np55G, Generac Np65G, Generac Np66G, Generac Np72G

Procedure

  1. 1. Set the line breaker(s) to "Off" or “Open”.
  2. 2. Let the engine run at no-load for a minute or two, to stabilize intemal temperatures.
  3. 3. Hold the start/stop switch at "Stop". Wait for engine to come to a complete stop.
