Before you start
- Equipment Damage. Failure to perform a daily inspection could result in damage to the unit.
Procedure
- Perform a walk-around inspection of the unit every day before starting the unit.
- Look for oil, coolant and fuel leakage.
- Look for blocked vents.
- Look for loose or missing hardware.
- Look for loose or broken electrical connections.
- Inspect the fan belt for cracks, fraying, or stretching and verify it is properly seated in the pulley grooves.
