Before you start
- Any attempt to crank or start the engine before it has been properly serviced with the recommended oil may result in an engine failure.
Procedure
- Remove oil dipstick and wipe dry with a clean, lint-free cloth.
- Install oil dipstick, then remove again.
- Oil should be between FULL and ADD marks.
- If below ADD mark, remove oil fill cap and add recommended oil to FULL mark.
- DO NOT FILL ABOVE THE "FULL" MARK.
