Procedure
- Rinse raw water circuit with anti-freeze solution.
- Check anti-freeze concentration in internal cooling circuit.
- Clean raw water filter and check seal.
- Check and lubricate water cock.
- Check hoses and hose connectors; renew if necessary.
- Dismount impeller, grease with vaseline, store dark; renew in spring.
- Check vent valve; disassemble, clean, grease or replace.
- Check water lock and drain water if fresh water rinse was used.
- Check exhaust/water separator and hose connectors for leakage.
- Check generator interior for leakages and dry sound cover.
- Spray generator and engine housings with corrosion protection oil.
- Disconnect starter battery positive and negative.
- Lubricate spindle for revolutions adjustment with Antiseize grease.
- Check coolant connection block for corrosion and renew if necessary.
- Use air dehumidifier in ship.
