Procedure
- Rinse raw water circuit with an anti-freeze solution.
- Check anti-freeze concentration in internal cooling circuit.
- Clean raw water filter and check seal.
- Check water cock; spray with corrosion protection oil or lubricate with acidless grease.
- Check all hoses and hose connectors.
- Check hose connectors at raw water valves; protect with double hose clamps if possible.
- Dismount impeller; check for wear; grease with vaseline and store in dark place.
- Control vent valve at raw water inlet; disassemble, check and grease.
- Check water lock; drain water if fresh water rinse used.
- Check exhaust/water separator for leakage.
- Check all components inside sound cover for leakages; dry cover.
- During winter storage, take off upper sound cover section to avoid condensation.
- Spray generator housing and engine housing with corrosion protection oil.
- Disconnect starter battery positive and negative pole.
- Lubricate spindle for revolutions adjustment device with Antiseize grease.
