Fischer Panda — Measures on preparation of the winter storage

Procedure

1. Rinse raw water circuit with anti-freeze solution; remove raw water inlet at water cock; suck mixture from container; return leaked cooling water with exhaust to container.
2. Check anti-freeze concentration in internal cooling circuit; adjust to lowest expected temperature.
3. Clean raw water filter and check seal.
4. Check water cock; spray with corrosion protection oil or lubricate with acidless grease.
5. Check all hoses and hose connectors; renew hoses if necessary.
6. Check hose connectors at all raw water valves doubly; protect with double hose clamps if possible.
7. Dismount impeller; check wear; grease with vaseline and store dark; reinstall in spring if good; renew in spring recommended.
8. Check vent valve at raw water inlet; disassemble, check and grease; replace hardened or dirty parts.
9. Check water lock; drain water if rinsed with fresh water to prevent ice damage.
10. Check exhaust/water separator for leakage and hose connectors.
11. Check construction units inside sound cover for leakages; dry cover; find and eliminate cause.
12. During winter storage, take off upper section of sound cover if humidity remains.
13. Spray generator housing and engine housing with corrosion protection oil.
14. Disconnect starter battery positive and negative poles.
15. Lubricate spindle for revolutions adjustment device with Antiseize grease; check cooling water connection block for corrosion; use air dehumidifier.
