Before you start

  • Ensure generator cannot be started accidentally.

Procedure

  1. Remove battery main switch.
  2. Open the capsule.
  3. Pull off connector and rubber cap.
  4. Loosen hex nut with 13 mm wrench and remove electric connections.
  5. Loosen lower attachment screw with hex socket wrench.
  6. Slide socket wrench with extensions under exhaust manifold and loosen upper screw.
  7. Pull out electric starter.
  8. To reinstall, reverse the order of steps.
